New Blog
Ok now about the reasons why Rock-a-blog has come to an end… omg that sounds so harsh… is going to be discontinued is a very simple one, it´s not inline with my thoughts and ideas anymore and basically at the time I started it, it was a really on the quick put together thing… anyway, it was ok, but now I “outgrew” it ^^
But no reason to be sad, life goes on and as does the blogging, just with a very different format: ZEITCHAOS
This new blog is based on the idea of the chaos, that so many feel to be in right now. It´s not limited to a specific genre like fashion, design, lifestyle, but it includes all of them and anything/everything else that moves, inspires us or makes a difference.
In addition to the blog there is going to be a more amplified webpage, which is still under construction and will be build up to promote the trend agency Zeitchaos and to give another platform to share, to interact, in order to tell you guys about out ideas, here about yours, talk about trends, ask about trends, share inspirations and things that move us!Enjoy and glory the www, the future and life with us and join Zeitchaos!!!

Makeyourownjeans.com: DIY!?
![]()
Do-it-yourself Web sites are making it easy for fashion buffs to design and order custom outfits: all you need is an Internet connection and a credit card.
Can design-your-own jeans rival designer jeans? How strong is this whole customizing wave???
If seen it coming and I totally understand it, cauz we all want something different and cool… and then if it´s exactly fitted to my wishes and needs- perfect! Will this trend overrun the normal stuff off the rack?
Well, I don´t think so, it might become more important, but it is for sure nice anyhow to feel special and call something just yours!

Vogue + Wikipedia = Voguepedia
![]()
We welcome a new website in the world of being and appearance, the World Wide Web- www.voguepedia.com Vogue, the world's number one among the fashion magazines now founded their own online encyclopedia, which is suitable for fashion victims and for newcomers in this area. The English site gives information on individual designers, brands, models, personalities and the beauty area. Just like the namesake Wikipedia you simply enter a keyword and get dates, core information, pictures and an overview of all publications on the searched subject in the Vogue. Voguepedia is not yet fully developed, but more and more information will be added as time goes on.All about fashion knowledge on one page… I already thought that was missing! Will it be as good as it should be!???
Kermit Tesoro: Skull heels
Kermit Tesoro is a rising fashion designer from the Philippines, with a really avant-garde sense of style, which interestingly he does not, as most “futuristically” orientated designers (expl. Gareth Pugh) do, display with black and other dark shades, he uses a mainly monotone, natural color palette. In his latest collection he had those skull heels- fabulous!
I even think Kermit Tesoro is a bit of an Philippine Alexander Mc Queen, or it´s just quite that, that he tries to “copy” the one and only… who knows, anyway, the heels are damn rocking!!!

On the 9th of May a limited series of silk scarves designed in a collab of M/M Paris, the artist George Condo and Kanye West will be launched available at Colette. The topic, which is strongly “depicted” on the designs is “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy”, name of the fifth studio album by Kanye West. The first image, which was also used for the album cover was banned in the US.
Mr West: “Banned in the USA!!! They don’t want me chilling on the couch with my phoenix!”

Topshop: The Prada copy
Yes, even I, as one of the biggest partisans of the fast fashion brand Topshop, have to admit that this is waaay to obvious of an imitation. The espadrille wedges just look like a cheap reproduction of the espadrilles by Prada for SS11.

Vanitas: Doggy-style bangle
Urban Outfitters: Shoe club
I wouldn´t want you to wear these shoes by
Won Hundred, because there are probably one
of the ugliest I have seen in a while, but still you
should enter into the “Shoe Club” of Urban
Outfitters you could win a pair of shoes and the
you just for sure do not choose these! ;)

American Apparel: Cork Watch
As I already saw on the Linea Pelle in Bologna there is a new trend in cork. The material will not only be used for shoe heels, but also for other things such as this watch that I found at American Apparel “Luxury Ladies Cork Analog Wristwatch”. The funny things is, this is a vintage piece. So once again the perfect example, everything works in cycles and comes back at one point.

(My only question would be, how can American Apparel have that many of the Dead Stock “Vintage” piece?!?)

Eelko Moorer: Interview 18.04.2011
The guy who killed a bear… no not really the bear laying on his floor is only made of rubber, but just as crazy sick as having a real one and that is probably why we like it! Rockin!!!

Another “work” of him, or pieces of art, or shoes, what ever we my call it are his famous stilts (he obviously simply calls them stilts ^^).

Based in London, he works on a freelance basis for companies, individual customers and on self-initiated projects. Some of the questions asked during his open talk at Polimoda:
Why do you use rubber?
“Rubber makes it toylike and subversal. - that´s interest, not necessarly a sexual interest. ^^”
Is everything possible?
“No. You have to see what the material is telling you and get your hands on the problem start and see what is possible.”
Is being commercial bad?
“No it´s not (incomprehensible look on his face). It opens up many opportunities, as you have a more financial stable situation. And also working in a team is great.
… well commercial or not, fashionable or not- I can get my eyes of this rubber bearskin! Epic! ^^
And what do the rich dream of?
Losing weight and looking like the poor."
