Makeyourownjeans.com: DIY!?

DIY

Do-it-yourself Web sites are making it easy for fashion buffs to design and order custom outfits: all you need is an Internet connection and a credit card.
Can design-your-own jeans rival designer jeans? How strong is this whole customizing wave???
If seen it coming and I totally understand it, cauz we all want something different and cool… and then if it´s exactly fitted to my wishes and needs- perfect! Will this trend overrun the normal stuff off the rack?
Well, I don´t think so, it might become more important, but it is for sure nice anyhow to feel special and call something just yours!

Vogue + Wikipedia = Voguepedia

Voguepedia

We welcome a new website in the world of being and appearance, the World Wide Web- www.voguepedia.com Vogue, the world's number one among the fashion magazines now founded their own online encyclopedia, which is suitable for fashion victims and for newcomers in this area. The English site gives information on individual designers, brands, models, personalities and the beauty area. Just like the namesake Wikipedia you simply enter a keyword and get dates, core information, pictures and an overview of all publications on the searched subject in the Vogue. Voguepedia is not yet fully developed, but more and more information will be added as time goes on.

All about fashion knowledge on one page… I already thought that was missing! Will it be as good as it should be!???

Kermit Tesoro: Skull heels

kermit tesoro skull

Kermit Tesoro is a rising fashion designer from the Philippines, with a really avant-garde sense of style, which interestingly he does not, as most “futuristically” orientated designers (expl. Gareth Pugh) do, display with black and other dark shades, he uses a mainly monotone, natural color palette. In his latest collection he had those skull heels- fabulous!
I even think Kermit Tesoro is a bit of an Philippine Alexander Mc Queen, or it´s just quite that, that he tries to “copy” the one and only… who knows, anyway, the heels are damn rocking!!!

The first image, which was also used for the album cover was banned in the US.
Mr West: “Banned in the USA!!! They don’t want me chilling on the couch with my phoenix!”

Topshop: The Prada copy

Yes, even I, as one of the biggest partisans of the fast fashion brand Topshop, have to admit that this is waaay to obvious of an imitation. The espadrille wedges just look like a cheap reproduction of the espadrilles by Prada for SS11.

And what do the rich dream of?

Losing weight and looking like the poor."
