Weddingcake: My wedding cake VS. Princess Victoria´s

Victoria (cool name ^^), a radiant and beaming bride, walked down the aisle on the arm of her father, in a cream-colored duchess satin gown with short sleeves and an off-the -shoulder, rounded neckline. Designed by Pär Engsheden, the dress has a V-shaped back and a 5m train fastened from the waist. Topping off the look, was the Cameo tiara which the bride's mother, Queen Silvia, also wore to her own wedding on the same day 34 years before.

Well, but now I want to talk about the more important stuff…

Prinzessin Victorias Hochzeitskleid wurde vom schwedischen Designer Pär Engsheden entworfen. Das elegant, klassische cremfarbene Kleid hat eine fünf Meter lange Schleppe. Wie erwartet, wurde ihr Look durch das Kamée-Diadem, das auch ihre Mutter, Königin Silvia, bei ihrer Hochzeit vor genau 34 Jahre zuvor getragen hatte.

Gut, aber jetzt will ich über das wirklich wichtige reden…

…the wedding cake!!! I mean- wow, now that really is a cake! Nearly 3m high and approx. 130kg (OMG, how many ppl in Africa would be happy about that… in this sense, the pastry chef said: “In times of peace like ours, you can be at a well-intentioned cake war.” …mhh not so sure about that!?).

…die Hochzeitstorte!!! Ich meine, hallo!? Wie heftig ist den das Hochhaus, äh Hochzeitstorte, geiles Ding! Knapp 3m hoch und um die 130 kg schwer (damit hätte dann halb Afrika was zu essen… und was sagt der Konditormeister dazu: “In Friedenszeiten wie diesen darf man ruhig einen gutgemeinten Tortenkrieg führen.” …da bin ich mir jetzt aber nicht gaaanz so sicher).

Ok size- and weight-wise I obviously lost the battle, buuut I made 2 cakes and therefore I had 2 different flavors too! The left cake, with a pic of the couple is a chocolate mousse cake and the left 3-story rose cake, is a white fluffy cake with a raspberry mousse filling in the middle layer and a lemon raspberry cream in the others! Yummie Mummie ;)
Oh oh and before I forget- all in all the sum up to 12 kg! Add a 0, which is nothing and I nearly get there! ;)

Okey, größen und gewicht technisch habe ich natürlich keine Chance, aaaber wenn es um Geschmack geht dann rocke ich das Tortenpackett!!! Das Linke Törtchen (mit 4 kg), ist ein Mousse-au-chocolate Torte und die drei-stöckige Rosentorte, ist einmal mit einer Himbeer-Mousse und in 2 Schichten mit einer Zitronen-Himbeer-Creme gefüllt! Yep, Zucker pur, aber Lecka-Schmecka!!!
Das nenne ich mal ein Kopf an Kopf rennen, aber ich würd sagen für einen Animatör… öh, Amateur- da hab ich schon gewonnen! ;)
