Die Kampagne zeigt das jung und alt die Jeans von LTB tragen können und mir gefällt ganz besonders die lässige Haltung des älteren Herren. Cool gemacht und man kann sagen “lässig” rüber gebracht.

Diesel campaign: Be stupid
Who wouldn´t want to ride a bike like this once…!?
Die Kampagne von Diesel die für ordentlich Aufsehen gesorgt hat geht in die 2. Runde und dies gekonnt wie ich finde. Die Idee ist verrückt und lustig… und ja wie soll man sagen, “dumm”! ;) Außerdem werden die Klamotten schön in Scene gesetzt- volle Punktzahl!



And the winner is… obviously the most stupid campaign I´ve ever seen! hahaha

WM 2010: Germany VS. Spain

Well well, this time we are not going to win the world cup… maybe next time. Spain won, and they deserved to, cause Germany really didn´t play nice soccer at all.
Anyway still love the boys….

So sehen Sieger… nicht aus… aber dafür stylische Verlierer! ;)

Alexander McQueen: Cruise 2010 VS. Cruise 2011

Zu erst ein kurzer Blick in die Vergangenheit- die letzte Cruise Collection, die noch aus der Feder des Meisters selbst stammt! Prints und markante Schultern dominieren, den Abschluss macht ein wunderschönes Kleid!

The whole (fashion) world is looking at Sarah Burton and what she is doing with the heritage of Alexander McQueen, but from the look of her first collection for pre-spring, the vista is quite promising indeed.

Die Kollektion ist umwerfend und kann dem Erbe des (meiner Meinung nach) Mode-Genies stand halten. Was die Zukunft für Sarah Burton bei Alexander McQueen mit sich bringt, ist noch schwer zu sagen, aber der erste Schritt in eine schillernede Nachfolge, ist mit dieser fabelhaften Cruise Collection, die durch aus vom Meister selbst hätte stammen können, getan. Congrats!

Christian Dior: Fall Couture 2010

OMG wonderful wonderful wonderful… ah what am I saying, flowerful flowerful flowerful…

 


John Galliano’s spectacular couture collection for Christian Dior is giving a whole new sense to flowerpower!

Galliano macht der Couture, wie sollte es auch anders sein, mal wieder alle Ehre.
Bei Blumeninspiration und –muster weiss man zwar das es in ist, aber nicht wirklich neu. Galliano allerdings macht daraus auf spektakulärste Art und Weise völlig neu! 
Er hat es meisterhaft verstanden, dem Blumengedanken das “süß” zu nehmen und ihn mit den elegantesten und atemberaubensten Kleidern zu kombinieren die man sich vorstellen kann- grandios!
Dank Blumen-Prints und starker, kräftiger Fraben, die oft sogar im Kontrast stehen, feminien, Blumen andeutenden Formen und Silhouetten, denkt man beim Anblick der Stücke nicht eine Sekunde an zuckersüße Blumenmädchen, sondern ist überwältigt von starker, purer, atemberaubender Schönheit!

Men´s fashion: Bye bye guys

 

That was actually the first time I really engaged myself in men´s fashion… and I have to admit I liked it. ;) Not only because of the obviously cute guys, but also because of the quite amazing fashion. Above I selected some of my fav looks/pics.

Louis Vuitton bstage, Etro, Galliano bstage, 2x Armani, Hermés, Givenchy, Liberty of London, 2x Louis Vuitton, Jean Paul Gaultier bstage and last but not least Iceberg, which proofed me wrong hating guys with too low v-necks!

Es war wirklich interessant sich genauer mit der Männermode auseinander zu setzen. Klar wusste ich, dass die Designer auch in dem Bereich einiges auf dem Kasten haben und es wirklich schöne Mode gibt, aber das die Men´s Fashion Week soviel mehr her gibt, hätte ich nicht gedacht!

Na da freue ich mich ja schon auf die nächsten Männer Fashion Shows!!! ;)

Men´s runway trends: Top 1 (The underdog ^^)

1) Socks

The probably most unsexy and really obnoxious cliché about German tourists, about them wearing socks, preferably white, with sandals was actually (really…why!?) to be seen on fashion runways. (At this point my daddy would be super proud, because he´d plead that he always knew that… hahaha). Anyway, socks were a big thing!

Deutsche Touris an die Fashion Front und natürlich, wie soll es auch anders sein, mit Socken in den Sandalen. (So wie es auch mein Daddy schon seit eh und je tut, aber natürlich nur mit hochwertigen Ledersandalen wie er immer betont!) Mein Socken-Supergau mit geilomeilo Statement hat aber definitiv Vivienne Westwood über den Runway geschickt:

Christopher Kane: Cruise 2011

Well, I´d rather call it a “Flight” collection than a Cruise collection, cause the looks animates to fly to the moon. Otherworldly prints burst across Christopher Kane’s structured minidresses, ruffled chiffon skirts and fitted jersey dresses.

Keyword “fly”, I´m flyin to Spain 2day and therefore I did some prefabricate… cu u guys in a couple of days… ^^

Men´s runway trends: Top 3

1) Double Breasted
The double-breasted jacket, that most formal and dandyish of men's styles, has been reinvented in informal and understated ways for spring.

2) Bomber Jacked
Does remind a bit of Ali-G when I hear the name of this style, but Bomber jackets were a top trend on the European runways.

3) Marine
Every now and then a theme on woman´s runways, this season it sloshed to the guys fashion shows too- Looks inspired by the seaside, a top trend on the European runways.
