Hildur Yeoman: Poodle bag

Hildur Yeoman is a fashion designer and a fashion illustrator from Reykjavik. The essence of everything she does is in the world of fashion as her illustrations also mainly involve fashion (see below)… I love them they are so romantic. However, the reason she caught my attention was because of the poodle bag- a wonderfully knitted hand in the shape of a poodle.
So, if you this is just the right dog to take for a walk in the city (no poo collecting ^^)…

British Vogue: Wedding issue

Well all the Brits been going crazy since it´s been revealed that Prince William and Kate Middelton are going to get married this year… how could the big glossies be missing!?


                            

The magazine has three covers, the models Freja, Lara and Natalia wearing dresses by Vivienne Westwood, Bruce Oldfield and Oscar de la Renta. Photographer was Mario Testion, but against my expectation I have to say, he didn´t really do a great job. Wedding them plus three great models and still, the outcome is kind of lame… but, I´ll be posting a bit more about the wedding them next days, cauz obviously it´s an great ongoing trend right now… ^^

Massimo Dogana: Fuck off- shoe

    

Next time we girls want a guy to piss off why just lift our foot and give him the necessary statement- “fuck off”!

The shoes by Massimo Dogana are definitely heels with a feministic power… so if the guy doesn´t understand just use the high heel and make him understand, sooo these heels could even be called self-defense heels ;)

Apart from these Massimo Dogana also has some (other) nice pieces in his collection. More wearable and not as intruding as the special pair of shoes above…

Fashion Night @ Independent Loft in Florence

Audrey Lebreton “Emerging stilists fashion show”

An exclusive event in a loft in Florence and why I am telling you to go!???

This will be the first possibility for the very talented Audrey Lebreton to show her skills on a runway. She is a French italian-based stylist and designer with extraordinary sewing skills:





And the one and only, my very favorite dress of her collection, which is just gorgeous- Madre-Terra. You should just see it in reality, it is a perfect example of great handcraft and an amazing piece of fashion.

I´ll be there and I hope to see as many of you at the event as possible. It´s going to be private fashion event, which is going to be great to meet and mingle with people of the same interest. Apart from that there is going to be a great DJ and the location is probably quite cool too- it´s an old fabric reconstructed to a loft. So far no pictures have been revealed…
The spot is a bit further away, but that as well should be no prob as shuttle buses have been arranged, leaving from Santa Croce all night.
The event starts at 10:00 pm and at 12:00 there will be two fashion shows, one by Audrey Lebreton and a second by Daniele Davitti, another young emerging stylist. That for sure will not be the end, the party will continue until around 5 in the morning. Cheers!

Jeremy Scott continues his successful eyewear campaign with Linda Farrow on new styles for Spring/ Summer 2011. The new titles include wings, cross and hands – all of which are exactly what they sound like.

As usual the designs of Jeremy Scott never go by unnoticed and it is as sure as the “amen” in the church, if you wear these on the street you won´t be unnoticed…

Fashion designers branching out… ok that is nothing new, but fashion designers designing the amenity kit, that is new.



The question is, is this new a good new? So far in my opinion it´s def the weirdest collab of the year! I mean, what´s next Louis Vuitton dental floss and Gucci toilet paper… well, at least that would mean a luxurious ass wipe! ;)
