Designers Remix: Spring 2011

Givenchy

Leoprint und scharz geht natürlich immer, aber die Collektion von Givenchy haut jetzt auch nicht wirklich von den Socken… außerdem ist es die Frage ob Frau im Frühjahr so düster rum laufen muss…

Riccardo Tisci delivered a quite dark collection, espacially considering it´s for spring… Animal prints and black might always work, but the collection is not really mind blowing…

Chanel

Neben einigen klassischen Chanel-Stücken, die vielleicht schon leicht bieder abheimeln, hat Karlchen auch neue freche Looks mit einberacht- mein Favorit, dass fellartige Poncho-Kleid!

At the Chanel-Shows you can always find the typical pieces, aimed to the core Chanel heritage and therefore the slightly unsophisticated classical customer. However, Lagerfeld always manages to include the very sopisticated power outfits- like my fav the furish poncho-dress!

Prada


Mhhh, also was bei Prada los ist weiss ich nicht so genau, aber ganz offensichtlich ist es nicht besonders viel. Im Grunde genommen sieht ein Look ähnlich aus wie der andere, wenigstens hat man sich im Hause Prada dieses Jahr für Signal-Farben entschieden- neues Signal, neuer Look! ;)

Well, thankfully Muccia Prada at least used signal colors. So whenever the “signal” changes you know it´s a new look… otherwise it would have been a bit difficult to distinguish, everything looks quite similar and nothing is really convincing… ahm.

Galliano


Galliano, der Meister der Farben bleibt seinem Stil treu und mixt was farb-technisch zu mixen geht, wie z.B. blaue Bluse und knall orange Perücke. …und gleich danach stolzieren Asiatin, Clown, Bienenhüterin und Safari-Jägerin über den Laufsteg. Wer kann solch unterschiedliche “Berufsgruppen” besser unter einen Hut bekommen als Herr Galliano!? Niemand.

The Master of Colorfulness did it again, color wise mixing everything that is possible. From bright orange and blue… to the Asian look in pink and orange, succeeded by a safari look and whatever one can think of. Who is able to mix that crazily and still make it all somehow work together perfectly!? Only the one and only John Galliano.
