Grrr like gruesome… the colors don´t work together that nice, but ok. The really bad part are the shapes and cuts. I mean this is the Fashion show and those guys are models, but please how unfavorable can a cut be, that even an ass (excuse me ^^) of a model looks like a cavy? However, I think that´s not the only shape problem the line has. Apart from that the show doesn´t offer anything inspiring or different.

Paul Smith F/W 2011

This year the English men Paul Smith showed his collection in Paris. The whole collection has an underground touch and I can totally feel the London sense (this is so london-street-wear!) in this! The silhouettes are less structured and obviously inspired by the late 60ties. Cool!!!

Dolce & Gabbana: Men's RTW Spring 2011

Männer zieht euch gut an… ich würde sagen im nächsten Frühjahr mit Dolce & Gabbana gar kein Problem. Die Looks sind locker, leicht und lässig, dabei dennoch elegant… hat so ein bisschen was vom Magnum Flair! ;)

   
   
 
 
  

Prada: Cruise 2011

Miuccia Prada’s sophisticated cruise line, gives a gypsy-caravan dimension to the idea of Sundays best dress. I really love this strong, but very feminin style!!!

Hermès: Men's RTW Spring 2011

Veronique Nichanian, menswear designer of Hermés really sees next spring/summer to be lighty and airy- I love the pale, sandy color palette she choose for the collection.

Ganz in der Linie des für die Sping Saison 2011 angesagten Laid-back-Luxury, passt auch die Collection aus dem Hause Hermés. Elegantes Understatement, perfekt für und nach dem Tag auf der Yacht! ;) Nice!

Jean Paul Gaultier: Men's RTW Spring 2011

 

Transporting his audience to a steamy night in Marrakesh, Gaultier presented a collection that offered as many hidden secrets and wonders as a souk. Hunky men in skimpy briefs sprawled in a humid hammam backdrop, while models paraded an array of North African-inspired outfits.

  

 

Ich liebe Jean Paul Gaultier, weil er einfach ander ist/ etwas anderes macht und das kriegt dieser Mann einfach immer immer wieder hin!
Ohne Frage genial ist ja schonmal eine Frau auf ner Männer Fashion Show laufen zu lassen und überhaupt haben Gaultiers Models bei dieser Show einenen anders/alternativ Charakter. Der Marroko-Styl der Show wird zum Ende hin mit futuristischen Prints neu inspiriert, außerdem finde ich es interessant das JPG auch den Mann jetzt im Overall sieht! End schräg sind auch die “Peep-Toe” Schuhe, die dem Look eine noch lässigere Note geben! Cool!
